When I’m not teaching college classes, ballroom dancing, or performing homemaking tasks, I write poetry, essays and thoughts on living a beautiful, intentional and positive life.
Just like anyone else, I struggle with the ordinary and not-so-ordinary aspects of living life. I hope to share with my readers what I have learned and continue to learn along the way. My “Tao”, or “Way”, may not be best for all people, but perhaps something I share will resonate with someone else.
I am a married woman, mother of three adult children of my own as well as three adult stepchildren, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
My poem, “I am my Mother” was published in the 2012 poetry anthology, Late Peaches. I am currently working on a small book of poetry.
